Wine Grape Bonsai Tree, Chardonnay Variety
The Chardonnay, a globally recognized green-skinned grape variety, is the star of this Wine Grape Bonsai Tree. Originally from Eastern France, this variety has found its way into vineyards from England to New Zealand, making it one of the most widely consumed wines.
At 11 years old and standing 15-16" tall, this deciduous bonsai tree will shed its foliage during the winter months, only to re-emerge with fresh, vibrant leaves in early spring. This is a natural, annual process as the tree prepares for dormancy.
For optimal growth, a suitable humidity/drip tray is recommended, which can be added at a small additional cost.
Please note that this bonsai may be shipped with mature, turning, and transitioning foliage in late summer (August). During autumn and winter, it may be shipped with no foliage, but rest assured, the tree will emerge from dormancy and re-grow foliage in early Spring.
