The Flowering Podocarpus Bonsai Tree, also known as Buddhist Pine or Chinese Yew, is a dense evergreen beauty with pointed, leathery, dark green leaves arranged on stiff, symmetrical branches. This unisexual tree features male flowers in cones and female flowers composed of cylindrical thickened scales. The fruits of this tree are not only edible but also pendiculate, fleshy, and brightly colored. The new foliage appears in a light green color that darkens with age. This tree is trained in the traditional bonsai style, showcasing a curved trunk and tiered branches. It grows very well, albeit slowly, indoors.

At 34 years old, this bonsai stands 26" tall and spreads 17" x 22". It's a testament to the beauty of nature and the art of bonsai.

The tree is potted in a 13" brown oval mica container. A suitable humidity/drip tray is recommended and can be added at a small additional cost.

Adding to the charm of this bonsai are two figurines - men playing chess and a ceramic panda - included with the tree.
